Picture Thoughts for Holy Thursday: Reflection

The girls dyed Ukranian Easter eggs over two days.  I love their creativity and skill!

They made 17 total eggs.  I made this makeshift drying box by poking nails up through the bottom of the box.  I used quick drying liquid polyurethane for the eggs.  I'll probably post another pic tomorrow so you can see these eggs get their shine on!

Molly made cupcakes for our Seder Meal dessert.  She was happy to do something herself.  Monica piped the icing and finished up the cupcakes with Easter sprinkles.

Our Seder Meal was another success.   A friend of the girls joined us this year which was a treat.  I roasted a lamb with potatoes and onions while the girls prepared the table and the Seder platter.

The Mass this evening was beautiful as always.  I pray you are all able to live the remaining days of the Triduum.  The Church knows what her children need in order to feed their souls, and these days culminating in Easter Sunday are evidence of that.  We have so much to live and look forward to.  ¡Disfrutenlo!

    1. Thanks, Lisa, Happy Easter to you, too!! Aren't they beautiful? I am so amazed at how steady the girls' hands can be. They all love doing pysanky, but Maria especially loves it. She worked on some very intricate designs this year.:)
