These are some of the approximate snow totals around the metro, and it's still snowing! I'm going to grab a cup of tea, knit, and watch Downton. Yeah!!
Todd got out the snow blower late this afternoon and we measured after he took a pass through the driveway...just about 9 inches...and it was still snowing! Needless to say, the children are over the moon excited!
My son has been praying and praying and praying for snow here in Chicago, but nothing yet. (He really, really wants to snowboard!) He will be so excited to hear that you are getting it in the Twin Cities, since we will be visiting my parents in Minneapolis for Christmas and New Years. Hopefully the snow will still be there! Send a little our way, okay?
Will do, Cheryl! Our daughter, Maria, has been praying since before June for a record snowfall so I'm sure the snow will be here when you come up to the Cities.:)

ReplyDeleteWe all took turns shoveling today, but Paul still has to go out tonight and finish up. That and he has to take the trash out.:(. Poor guy!

DeleteIt's so nice to hear someone say they like snow - and I'm sure you get plenty of it where you are. So often I hear grumblings about snow. Enjoy!
