Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real: Hazelnut Park

round button chicken

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

Piano lessons have started back up again after a whole two week break...sheesh!  It's still nice enough outside to enjoy the park while we wait the hour for the four oldest kids to have their lessons.  Today was a long day with a nature study this morning, Monica's Latin chat over the lunch hour, and soccer practice for the two oldest girls in the afternoon.  Needless to say I got a LOT of knitting done today.  I was happy to have the time and the beautiful weather to be outdoors with the littles.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Pretty summer sandals in little, grubby feet....ahh, summer!

Gabe loves the sand digger at this park.  The girls at his age never knew
how to work the handles.  He's had it figured out for a couple years!

I LOVE those cute little eyes catching me take his picture!

Poor Monkey gets thrown to the wayside when it's either him or the park!
He's snuggled with 6 out of 7 of the kids at different stages of toddler/babyhood.
When I watch the Toy Story movies I think of him.:(
