This is a quick way to update you all on what's been going on in our little field. I've been liking all the linky love over at Like Mother, Like Daughter so here goes...
You can see the ice on the window indicating the two inches of late April snow we were driving through on our way down to northern Iowa. There were several cars in the ditch, but as you can see our little Missionary cross was guiding us along our "Lenten Journey" to Texas.
Happiness is finding a rest stop with a decades old merry-go-round for taking a break.
Never...I repeat never give a toddler a Red Vine and get distracted with your crocheting! The silence should have alerted me to busy Mr. Mischief.
This is not a joke. You're in Texas now, Son.

He's very tired...Mom looks tired, too. Poor thing's been staying at the hospital every night just to be with him...true love. He's in good spirits, but there's still a long row to hoe ahead of all of us. Thanks for the prayers. Have a Blessed Triduum...we'll see you on the other side...in more ways than one!
