Along the Alphabet Path - D Week

Here's the low-down for D week!  We're really enjoying The Alphabet Path.  It's been great digging up things to use for the themed weeks.  We've been using things I have that I wondered if we'd ever get around to using.  So far so good.  The kids are learning a lot of information and getting the basics of writing and reading down pretty good.  I'm pleased to say the least!

D is for Double Daisy Fairy and St. Dominic

Books We Read

DK Dinosaurs
Davy Crockett
Dinosaur Lap Book - Lucas and I made this last year.  It was great to get it out and see the work he did.  He was so pleased with himself!
We also looked at an Eyewitness: Impressionism book focusing on Degas and Dancers.

Letter D Formation
Playing with Dinosaurs
Dinosaur Puzzle
Dora Checkers
Letter D Stamping & Dinosaur Stickers

Dannon Vanilla Yogurt
Dole Pineapple Chunks
Turkish Delight

I think I'll wait until we have a week off to do a separate post of the Alphabet of Saints the girls have been painting.   So far they have through St. Francis (F week).
