7 Quick Takes: Flower Fairy Birthday Party

Maria opted for a Flower Fairy Birthday party to celebrate her 10th birthday.

Cocktail Meatballs
Deviled Eggs
Stuffed Mushrooms
Lady Fingers
Crackers & Cheese cut into leaf shapes
Strawberry Cupcakes with Whipped Cream
Juice with frozen rose petals and sugared rims on the glasses

The girls colored a picture of the Fuschia Fairy.  We used Mod Podge to adhere Fairy Dust glitter to whatever parts the girls wanted sparkly.  Then they mounted their pictures on fun scrapbook paper to make a border.  We framed the pictures with a pink IKEA frame as a party favor.  The girls couldn't wait to take them home to decorate their rooms.

They played a couple games until I had an idea to have them perform a play.  We chose, A Midsummer Night's Dream for Kids (Shakespeare Can Be Fun!)
We used Lois Burdett's version.  They girls had a blast playing the different characters!

This morning we treated Maria to a Birthday Breakfast

I used a Fred and Friends French Toast stamp to stamp the Eiffel tower and a Bonjour! greeting onto the pieces of bread.  Maria said she could see it.  It was a bit hard and would probably work better with white bread.

Guess you'd have to be there!

Maria is such a special little gal.  We love you,'re the best!
