Lucas's godmother gave him a lights and sounds Christmas tree. He loves it! Here he is playing along with the tune, "We Wish you a Merry Christmas," on his little piano. I cried, I laughed so hard when I saw this. Note he's very serious!

Texas Girl Goes Natural

All I ever wanted to know about "natural" anything was the color of a bluebonnet and, maybe, how to recognize the calls of a Mockingbird. But, now, they've got me! The nutrition gurus and naturopaths that be have slowly crept into my life! Here's a pic of me eating my gluten-free breakfast and holding my supplements: Pro-5, cercumin extract, cruciferous complete, and I had a teaspoon of cod liver oil after I ate my eggs. Interesting.;)

Christmas Cookie Decorating

Here's a quick video of my cookie decorating last evening. I had to quick finish up a dozen to pack with two other diaper boxes full of cookies. These are going to a friend of mine in Seattle who is undergoing chemo treatments for breast cancer. Her next treatment is Dec. 22...3 days before Christmas.:( Keep her in your prayers!

Feast of St. Nicholas

The night of Dec. 5th is always a frenzy at our house to get shoes out for St. Nicholas's visit that night. Here are a few pics of the shoes, the gifts, and the smiles.

Ice Skating

Here are a couple pics of the girls skating on the neighbor's pond. Tom grooms the pond behind his house every year for hockey parties. He invited us over to skate. Daddy took the older girls twice. I guess all the roller blading they did this summer paid off. Last winter, they were very shaky, but this winter....watch out Hans Brinker and your silver skates!!
